Jersey Matters to air on WJLP 3 Me-TV in New Jersey

Freehold, NJ – WJLP Me-TV is proud to announce that Jersey Matters will start airing on WJLP in New Jersey on January 17th, 2015 at 5:00pm. Jersey Matters will offer viewers a unique perspective into all things New Jersey. Host, Larry Mendte, will welcome guests to discuss and analyze news in New Jersey as well as local social trends and state politics. Jersey Matters will be immediately followed by sister program, Another Thing with Larry Mendte at 5:30pm, which covers regional and national stories.

Mendte has a stellar background in both broadcast and print journalism over the years. He was the first male host of the American syndicated television show, Access Hollywood. He also served as Weekend Anchor at WABC-7 in New York. Until mid-2008, Mendte was the lead anchor of the 6pm and 11pm newscasts for KYW-TV (Channel 3), the CBS affiliate in Philadelphia. In February 2010, Mendte returned to New York working for WPIX-11, where he did nightly commentaries on current events. Larry currently serves as Public Affairs Directors for WJLP and Sister Station KJWP in Philadelphia. He also hosts a morning radio program on WILM in Wilmington, DE and WDOV in Dover, DE.
